Cultivating Resiliency in the Science Classroom
Resilient students excel in school. Yet, so many factors in today's world encourage perfectionism, discourage vulnerability, and work against resiliency in our teenagers. In this discussion, we will explore how we can make room for social-emotional teaching in the busy science classroom to support mental health and grow resilient students.
Conversational Practice
We will begin with a demo lesson led by the workshop leader. We will then share and discuss strategies for supporting mental health and social-emotional learning in science classrooms.
